Headache Symptoms and Causes
Headache and migraine symptoms may result from affected muscle, nerve and imbalances stemming from the head, neck, and facial areas. The part of your nervous system that signals pain sensation to your brain is called the trigeminal nucleus. Working with a TruDenta® headache doctor can help to balance and stabilize these forces and correctly build a foundation to relieve your head pain.

Types of Headache Pain
Tension headaches are the most prevalent type of chronic head pain resulting in a band of pain throughout both sides of the head and neck and stretching across the top caused by the tightening of neck, facial and head muscles.
Inflammatory headaches are caused by swelling and inflammation of the surrounding muscle groups.
Traction headaches result when pain-sensitive parts of the head, face, or neck are stretched, pulled or displaced by events such as whiplash or eye strain. Many times, the trauma events are not initially significant enough to remember.
Vascular headache pain, or migraine or cluster headaches, cause severe pain. These headaches are also accompanied by other symptoms such as light sensitivity, dizziness, nausea, and impaired vision.
Causes of Head Pain
The TruDenta system targets the improperly balanced muscle forces in the head, neck areas and jaw. The added stress to these areas cause painful conditions and headaches. These conditions may be caused by several factors, including injury or body trauma, accidents, aging dental restorations, wisdom tooth extraction and poor diet and lifestyle choices.
If you have experienced any of the symptoms or events listed above and continually experience chronic headaches or seek migraine relief, contact our office today for an evaluation to see if TruDenta® System is right for you.
